Hello all, I would be greatly appreciative to anyone that can please help me figure this dilema I have now out. OK, first things first, im an idiot and decided to rip the radio out. Now when this happened the car worked fine untill i started to cut wires, obv. When i did cut the wires numerous things have happened, Lights go dim, blinkers dont work, my instrument panel has ceased to exist, and the car just wont hold a charge nor a connection for that matter. It will start however, but everything works for about 10 min then boom none of the lights nor the instrument panels will work. Now to me, this seems like a break in some sort of connection, where i dont know. At the same time Im thinking that the stereo that i stupidly ripped out was part of some sort of computer system and that without that in, the car will not work. Please help me in my quest for nirvana with this car, i really enjoy this car and would like to keep it going. oh yea the car model is a Mercury Sable LS i think years 00''-04'' in between. Never just start cutting wires especially if you consider yourself an idiot. All I can say is start reconnecting the ones you can match up. Good luck.
