Slight steering wheel vibration
#1
Okay, I replaced two motor mounts on this thing, now when the car is at
idle in gear (like at a red light), I get a vibration in the steering
wheel. It goes away when I start moving again, only to come back at the
next stop.
The two mounts are the "Front" (Right side) mounts.
I checked the transmission mounts and it appears to be okay. Over
the last few days the vibration has gradually subsided. Is there a
Break in period for Motor Mounts? I'm thinking this could be the cause.
But not sure. They are all hydraulic mounts.
Any Idea what all could be causing this? I am tending to rule out the Tranny mount as it goes away when moving.
