what tells me if it is single overhead or dual overhead. just recently purchased and am just wondering. thank you.

It will say DOHC under the hood and on the fender badges. I think the DOHC has a much larger oil filter, too. Generally, I think the LS models mostly have the DOHC and the GS models have the SOHC. My 99 DOHC LS has dual exhaust also, I don't believe the SOHC models have dual exhaust.

Does it say Duratec on top of the intake plenum? That's a 3.0 DOHC. If not it is a 3.0 SOHCVulcan.
