Ticking noise at cold start
 

Hello,

I have a mercury sable 2001. This winter, I can hear the left side of the engine to have ticking noise immediately after I start. This noise is larger if I immediately backed off from parking lot. But if I let the engine to warm up before pulling back from parking lot, there is not such noise.

Could this be the belt or the valves inside the engine?
