Hey guys im the nube....but I have a prob with my 97 Tracer. Over the past two weeks i've noticed that whem ever I go to accelerate, it seems to take a while for it to really pick up speed. Its almost a struggle. Also around the same time when I started it up, it began to blow out some type of exahust from the muffler, and I mean alot. Sorry I dont know crap about mechanics but I think it might be the transmition...but whet eve if you guys could throw some sugestions at me it would be apricated.

what exactly is blowing out your exhaust? if its smoke you have an oil leak some where. could be a bad valve seal, bad head. also check your intake for leaks. bad injectors or bad gas?. just check the simple things first. spark plugs wires disturburtor intake injectors try a compresion check.
