timing belt question
 
Hello i have a 96 mercury villager i am installing a new timing belt and i am also going to repplace the water pump but i am haveing some issues putting the belt back on everthing is at tdc i but the belt on like the book says i turn it over twice like the book says but when i bring it back to tdc the three white marks do not line up with the cam marks and crank i can move them back and i get the same thing what the heck am i doing wrong? am i mising a procedure shoundnt the marks line back up after turning it to full revolutions the marks do on all three spots but not the marks can anyone help. i cant afford to lose any more hair you can reply here or my personnel email or shoot at this poimt in time i would even take a phone call if you or if you happen to live in the area of granbury texas stop by email me if you want to give me a call i give you my number

with the pullies being different sizes I don't think they're supposed to line up after turning the engine over. as long as you start off at cyl. #1 TDC and have the marks aligned, you should be good.
