I just bought a 1996 sable. It failed emissions due to the check engine light not coming on. What could the problum be.

The light is not coming on at all?? Does it come on when you first start the car and go off or not at all? If not you may have a problem with the PCM. definatly something i would recommend having a professional check that one out.
