the dealers go by this chart to see how you will get the deal for the rebate. the government has listings as to what cars got when they were new and this is what is listed...

find your year, make and model and it shows you what your car originally was listed at.

though it says I should get about 15 mpg in town and I average about 13.5 on a good day. getting around 12mpg right now with the AC blasting.
