I added a DEI 200wt bazooka tube to my Mach system. Nothing too fancy, but definitely brings out the bottom end on the factory Mach sys.

Speaking of mods to Mercs, has anyone done a cd changer (trunk mounted) upgrade or replacement. And does anyone know the brand of the original changers used on 1996 Sable LS's? My stock unit is acting up big time, shows no cd available message, won't play loaded cds and won't release the cartridge. Anyone have any ideas/experiences? Thanks!

I work at a Linc Merc dealership and have done factory trunk mounted cd changers its easy one connection at the back of the radio one at the cd changer and the changer is just mounted to the trunk floor.

Now what brand it is they are all marked as Ford Motor Company so that i dont know..

<DIV>I have an Alpine CDA-9589 Head Unit powering a Xplod 1300 watt amp which leads to 2- 12'' MTX 8000 Thunders ( 500 watts RMS each). Hits pretty good, and sound quality out of the head unit is crystal clear. </DIV>
