I just acquired a 1994 Mercury Capri Convertible. I checked all the fluids and fired the engine up. It runs very good. Put the tranny in reverse and the car didn't move or act like it wanted to move. Put it in drive the same thing. The fluid looks good with no burnt smell. When it is in gear the can can be rolled forward or backward with no resistance. Could this be the torque convertor? Would appreciate any replies with some help.
