i posted in general but felt it might be looked at more here sorry but, i have a 2001 merc cougar. she is my "baby". but lately she has been giving me tons of problems. she has 132000 miles so problems are expected, just not all at once. i have had the fuel pump replaced twice. the coil pack replaced, of course plugs and wires, the whole front end rebuilt... tie rods, ball joints, cv's, anti sway links, struts... now im have some off the wall problems which may or not be related to all of this.

first after having this done over a period of 2 years (financial) i had her aligned. now she has a "whistle", a clunking noise (not motor related) sounds like something solid just banging around loose and she shakes around 60 mph. tonight she stops shaking at 60 but has a bad hesitation from around 20 to 40 mph. (didnt think i was going to make it home. lots of prayers went out ha ha..) then she straightens up after the 60 mph. still clunks, still whistles.when i slow back down she does it again.

she is a manual 5 spd, v6 2.5 mostly original parts if you can help me diagnose this.
