We can drive the car but when we put all the way off the gas or when we start the car we barely put on the gas and it shuts off and most of the time it makes a beep when we do that can any one tell what is the problem?

 

Have you done a tune up recently?


It could be anything from the fuel filter all the way up to the Idle Air Control, to EGR... I would start with a major tune up personally. Is it a 5.0? Just curious...

 

No, but we changed the ignition coil because the last one was broken but will do and Yes it is a 5.0 and we sort of the same problem with our Colony Park it shuts off but not in the same manner but I'll save that question in the GM section.Edited by: knghtmat
