AC/Heater/Defroster??

<H2>I have a 2000 Cougar which has been messing up on me lately, the AC/Heater/Defroster will sometimes work and sometimes it doesnt. Lately it hasnt been working for me at all? What could it be? Could it be something small and least expensive or something more? Thanks</H2></DIV>
