I took out the fuse and its a big square one with 5 prongs, how do I test it to seeif its a blown fuse. Thanks for your time.

 

what you took out was the relay not the fuse. You will need a ohm meter to test. The fuse is usually small and it is very easy to see if it is blown as the "bridge" in the middle of the fuse will be gone. What exactly is going on with your car?
