Tires are rated for 35 psi max, but thats just the max tire pressure for the rubber. What I need to know is if anyone has the actual manufacture recommended tire pressure for a 1994 grand marquis. The Factory-specified tire pressures for the 1992 thru 1995 Grand Marquis with 215x70Rx15 radial tires: Front = 32 p.s.i (cold) Rear = 35 p.s.i. (cold) The Tire Inflation Decal is attached to the body, at the Passenger's Side Rear Door. Recommended Load/Speed Rating = 98 T (118 mph). DO NOT use a pencil-type tire gauge -- get a DIGITAL gauge -- I use a CRAFTSMAN digital gauge -- it's very accurate to .5 lb. (one-half pound) psi. |

Sleeper !?? I don't know about that -- most people want to make rockets out of these 2-ton whalemobiles for as-yet-unfathomable reasons.
The 95 MERC was built for long-distance, high-speed touring throughout the deserts and mountains of the American Southwest, with little thought given to it being a "sleeper" -- preferring instead to keep things on the down-low.
