My grandfather has a 1995 GM that the blinkers and brake lights do not work. Only the 3rd brake light works. All fuses look good and have replaced the $300 module under the dash. Any idea? or is the new module possibly bad? What should I try or look for?

Thank you

biggest problem that causes this is the ground wire in the trunk. you probably need to pull the carpet out and look for a wire that might be broken and ground it. my Grand Marquis did this since the grounding spot was rusted. i grounded it in another place and brake lights and signals work again.

That blinking light is designedto show you that the anti-theft system
inyour 1995 GM is active. I have the same light that flashes in my </span> Maybe, your blinking light drain the battery.

he said blinkers and brake lights dont work except for 3rd brake light...

didnt say the anti theft light flashing. my Grand Marquis i have didnt have rear brake lights or turn signals when i got it since it sat for a few years. i had this issue before with a Crown Victoria i also have and it was same problem. the ground wire in my trunk that connects to the body was rusted out and had to find new ground position for it. after i grounded it, all lights worked except for a few dead bulbs the older couple failed to replace since they didnt maintain the car.
