My daughters 1998 Mountaineer's Compass & OAT quit working on the overhead console...I couldn't find a fuse associated with them..anyone got any ideas??

 

i have the same prob i banged on it a couple of times and it lit then later went out again... i had i apart but cant find and fuse for it only a circut board ,,,,, if you hear anything please let me know

 

Seems to me, there must be a fuse or circuit breaker that controls them

 

i took mine apart and there is only a circut board and the switch for the moon roof... there is no fuse there i was trying to get the circut board out and check the solder joints but i gave up ,,, i dont know where the fuse would be ...im sure there is a fuse for the moon roof but not the compass ,,, i am going to screw around with mine someday and ill let you know what i find
