so heres the story, i have a 93gm that had a bad rod knock. i search on craigslist and find a 1992 motor, i go pick up the motor and take it to my mechanic. later on he tells me that my trans is a 7bolt mount and my motor is a 6bolt so obviously it wont fit. to my knowledge ford made the same 4.6 from 92-95. My question is did ford make a different block that i didnt know about from 92-95 or did the guy sell me a motor from 1996 and up.
