I am having trouble with a 93 Villager and its brake lights and wonder if anyone can help.


The brake lights are coming on when the van is turned off and draining the battery. Is this likely an electrical problem or something to do with the brakes themselves? It is an intermittent problem, but becoming more frequent.

The cheapest and easiest way to try something is to replace the brake lamp switch... it is located above the brake pedal and when working improperly it can turn the lights on/off by itself
