98 mercury tracer wont start
#1
hello hope someone can help me. my tracer has a 2.0 engine. was running fine made it halfway up the drive and stopped. we have check timing belt. it is fine. fuel pump is working, we put in new plugs and wires. they are working and getting spark. it seems like the fuel injectors are not working at all. when you use the starter fluid it will run but stops when not using it. could this be a sensor? does anyone have any suggestions. Please help

well it sounds like you definately are not getting fuel to the engine. you say the fuel pump is working. try changing the fuel filter. if that does not work take the filter back off and see if fuel is actually making it to the filter. if no gas appearsit might be a clogged strainer in your fuel pump. has the car been run out of gas lately? has your check engine light ever come on? good luck.
