my daughter has a 1999 grand marquis, which she just locked the keys in the trunk, and we sprung for the $60 to have the locksmith open the door. she bought it used, and never got the code for the door keypad. does anyone know the process to reprogram it? thanks, alan nunner

 

if you contact a dealer they can tell you where the code is located usely a white sticker located on or in the car some place i found mine in the trunk good luck

 

I don''t think it can be reprogrammed but you can look on one of the trunk hinges. Post this on the G.M. forum and you will get your answer. I know where I got mine for my Sable but it seems Ford puts them in different spots for all their makes and models. Good luck.
