I just did a engine swap in a 89 marquis. The 302 i used was rebuilt 10,000 kms ago and ran great before i pulled it out of the donor car. Now, it is slow to turn over, wont start and there is smoke (small amount) coming from somewhere near the firewall on the drivers side when i try to turn it over, i am unable to located where from. The car has a new starter, starter solenoid, battery and alternator. I'm at a lost, any ideas?? thanks
