I have 86 mercury sable, I have replaced the pump in the tank but it after a week blew fuse that goes to the ignation and the pump is not runing .


Have done some eletrical run down and the swich in the back of tank read ground on one post and 7 deg's of resident we feel that the pump moter but it still blow fues?

 

are you sure that you have the right pump?
