I need some clips for the lower moldings on the doors of my MGM. The ONLY site I''ve found them on is www.carpak.com

CarPak does not sell directly to the public however and I''m awaiting an email from them stating who to order from. I will post that info once I get it.

 

nevermind... they''re discontinued and nobody has any left in stock.

 

What about the HELP section in alot of parts stores? (a commom brand in my area for hard to find clips, fasteners etc.) The dealer? The bone yard?

 

they are one use clips... you have to break them to remove the moulding. This leaves junk yards out unless you get the entire door or know a trick that I don''t (which is a good chance actually). Dealer discontinued the items in 2004 and 2005 for rear and front doors respectively (they only sold the moulding with the clips as a kit). The help area doesn''t have them... I''ve looked. It''s not a common clip. it was used for this year model and this one only. "Ford had a better idea" ... and then changed their mind.

if you look in the carpak catalog (body panel moulding clips) on page 196 (page 52 of that PDF) at item 90-6785, that''s what I need. If anyone can find some place that has them, let me know.
