2004 Mercury Marquis ETC - No A/C thru Vents
Just purchased a 2004 Grand Marquis LS with 75k miles.
Engine and Tranny work smooth as silk.
Heat, Defrost, and Vent settings work fine with all temperature and fan settings. Air blows through the vents, floor, or defroster outlets wherever I want it.
However, when I went to test the MAX A/C or Normal A/C with the temperature setting lowered to 60, no air whatsoever blows through the vents cold or otherwise.
Right now it is 45 degrees. Is the compressor synchronized to the temperature outside?
I ran a ETC diagnostic and it returned a code of 888 with all characters of the display surrounding the number.
Any thoughts or ideas?
