Default Single action hydraulic spring compressor

ya know those single action spring compressors for coil springs...

Anyone know of a hydraulic version?

all the spring compressors out there that's I've found so far are for struts or with very little clearance for a side grabber type. with the fat control arms on the old MGM, you have no chance of using those. The screw down version does work. but takes an hour just for one spring with a breakover bar. Apparently I'm too much of a wuss to be able to do that while laying under the car with it as high as it will get off the ground on jack stands. I poop out after about 40 minutes of cranking and the springs still aren't quite compressed enough to help with replacing the control arm bushings.

Thought so... Looks like I'll have to find a 2-5 ton hydraulic ram (pull type) and cannibalize a single action spring compressor to create my own.

Thanks Dan, I appreciate it. Ill give you a ring for the 3/4 heims for the shackles...Are your spring plates customable? Or one size fits all?

I'll probably just buy them. I'm guessing you are using the pro tools 105 dies?
