01 MGM needs performance mod suggestions
#1
Hello everyone,
I just bought a 01 Grand Marquis, Im looking to chip it. Does anyone know of a high quality chip that wont fry my pcm at a good price?
By the way.. ANYONE needing service information regarding any Mercury, email me. I work at a Ford Dealership.
Im also looking to CAI, dual ex, headers, sway bar, limo tint every window, and 22'''' rims. Suggestions welcome.
Hope to hear from you guys soon.

chipping will help, but better exhaust and a cold air intake would probably help more.
That said, superchips seems to be the defacto standard in the chip-tuner market. the tuner for your car is this one.
any programmer that specifically says it''s compatible with your car (or the same year vic) and connects via the OBD-II connector shouldn''t fry your car. They are pretty much idiot proof (as long as you wait until it says it''s ok to remove it).
www.summitracing.com will have most, if not all, of the other things you''re looking for. wheels vary by opinion, so get ones you think look good on your car.Edited by: slymer
