The wipers on my 1999 grand marquis only work on high speed. When
switching to any other speed it sounds like a clicking sound comming
from the dash. I am trying unsuccessfully to troubleshoot this
problem and would appreicate some assistane. thanks

It sounds like a switch to me. I tend to try and stay away from electrical problems. Have you tested the switch?

If I understand your correctly WWEB, the BLUE with white and the
organge are te ones to check for power to determine if it is the switch
or the module.

Thanks

Look like it is a dealer fix, I could not find any blue/white wire with
an orange wire connected to the same thing.. From the Fuse there was a
brown and green wire.. thanks though.

I have the same problem and working through shop manual.
Looking at 1999 module Ford F5AF-17D541-AB and spare module from1993 Grand Marquis (55000k) which reads FordF3LF-17D539-AA.
Wires and pins are the same. Any chance that they are interchangeable?
I also have the 93 multifunction switch and motor.
Appreciate any help in helping me get rid of my Mercury Blues.
99 Merc 116000k
Thanks
