2003 Grand Marquis trans issue?
I just picked up a 2003 Grand Marquis with 105,000 on it. The car is glorious but I noticed something odd when I took it on a two hour drive. It seems to shake and vibrate on and off again. It feels like it is shuddering or, as if I'm running over rumble strips.
When I release the gas the the vibration stops. Trans related? Torque converter? Any thoughts would be great.
