We have a large car dealer here in town, handles all kinds of brands.

They are selling the 2008 model (MSRP $25,005) for $16,500, lease backs, with around 7k miles on them. What a bargain.

Checked them out, vehicles come with foglights, and yes, there's even a tachometer in the cluster.

As it's being said, you buy a new vehicle, pull out the car lot, and the first couple grand are gone.

Wow.....$16,500 is down in the Focus price range. That's a lotta car for that small amount of money.

You going to go get one?

I agree, comfort and safety are worlds apart, and with 17/25mpg more than worth it.

Not to mention reliability, spare parts and interchangeability. There are new cars out there for that kind of money (Kia Optima). But once I cruise down the road and hardly notice their bad condition (our roads are baaaaad here), I know why I drive a large car.

Not me, have enough trouble keeping my old one running and unmolested.

Well, they got another delivery last night. My eyes caught a dark blue one, wow!

What I discovered: All of them have dual exhaust, and I couldn't find that as an option in the current packages, so looks like it's standard.

Also, the ones w/o the front license plate holder seem to have an air cooler hanging there (in the bumper of course, but exposed w/o any protection). Don't know if it is the one for power steering or transmission, but sure looks odd. Doesn't really fit the nice and sleek appearance.

Greetings!

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA, I WANT ONE!

I'm drooling: Guess what they have:

In case you wonder: I'm driving the stripped NASCAR version, I don't even have a cupolder.

I'm getting a $6,500 rebate on my new 2008, so I'm happy.

Thats a good reduction plus if the dealer marks the car down a bit more huge saving then - less than some used cars...

see you wait long enough you'll find that cupholder won't even have to go to Wally World either

I saw a new GS and LS sitting side by side the other day. The GS sticked at just over 27K. Those prices haven't increased much over the last 5 years. While others have gone up 3-4 grand during that time.

Seems like a Sable and Taurus sitting next to the MGM was around 33 grand. I'll take the Marquis any day for that price

You know, you're so right. This dealership I was referring to, they have Taurus and Sable, for the same price.

I understand that people might go with either one of them, because of styling or a few miles more per gallon, for me, there's no doubt, I'd rather have the flagship.

Ahoy!
