2008 MGMLS 4.6L PCV Valve
#1
Apparently Ford has come up with new PCV scheme. The PCV valve seems to be fixed in the valve cover on the passenger''''s side. Also has an electrical connection to it!! There are two catches at the base that seem to lock in the valve cover. And it doesn''''t want to come out very easily. I just don''''t want to trash this valve trying to get it out.
Question is: Has anyone removed this valve yet? I normally remove my PCV valves at each oil change and shoot SeaFoam thru to clean the valve, upper intakeand upper cylinder area.
Thanx,

My question would be why do you use so much sea foam?
I was just looking at the MSDS on that stuff and it appears to be little more than naptha and isopropyl alcohol in a light oil. Seems to me that too high a concentration mixed in the crankcase could potentially harm the bearings.
