Just got done doing a bunch of work on this thing. Pulled both heads, did valve stem seals, new head gaskets and bolts of course, new timing chain kit (tensioners and guides), new intake manifold gaskets and got her all back together to discover a new ticking noise You can't hear it at idle at all until you get on the gas a little bit, and then the noise stops in higher rpms when I really get on the gun (or maybe I can't hear it at least). the noise isn't very loud but is noticeable. lifters ever go bad in these or am i hearing a lower end problem
