hi gang,
My 87 MGM's power steering is severely overassisted. The steering wheel is very easy to turn. I could drive this thing with my big toe if I wanted to. There is no resistance whatsoever when I turn the wheel and makes for a not-so-firm feel when it's being driven. I changed the power steering pump a couple of years ago and it's still the same. Any suggestions on how to fix this?

This is normal. My 85 Grand Marquis does the same thing. I thought it was odd at first but actually it is a very easy car to drive
