Does anyone know if these wheels will fit a 98 MGM?? I bought some bullits off of an 05 and those didnt fit, so this time I want to make sure they fit. I know that one site has everything....but has anyone put these on a MGM?

yes they will fit. 95-02 will fit.but before you send me a bill, ask around for a web site for fitment of rims.

 

did you check your last post with the same question on 6/18/08? there is a web sitethere for rims

 

You will need spacers/adapters to run the mustang wheels, due to a
difference in offset. I would suggest about one inch or so in the rear, and
1.25 in the front.

do they need to be hub-centric? There''s quite a few posted on eBay, starting at ~$50 and going up from there. Does anyone have some recommendations as to which to get?

Your 96 uses lug centric wheels. You can run a hub centric rim but you''ll need the shouldered lug nuts that goes with them.

 

Thx BFM70 for that clarification! I saw a related post to use 1.25" spacers in front and 1" in rear. Someone local to me has 1.5" spacers available. Do you think that will work or will it put the wheel a bit outside the fender lip? I''ve got a set of ''98 Cobra rims that I''m looking to mount.

 

You should not need spacers at all. The offset on pretty much all the rear drive Ford cars was the same from 94-04. If you wanted to run an 05+ wheel the offset difference is only 13mm, which is about half an inch, so a 1.5" spacer would be too much even then.

I run Cobra rims on my 96 without spacers and they fit like they were made to go there.

 

The only issue I have is the tires that came with the wheels (245/45ZR-16) are too short. I''ll stick some 235/60''s under it the next set.

Kewl ! Thx for the info & pics. I can see where the taller tire would help fill up the wheel well. Is it also affecting the speedometer reading and if so, higher or lower?
