Default '98 marquis trouble (long winded)

Help!
took the old girl to town, and she decided to not start back up. Tried jumping it, battery was good though. All dash lights, interior lights and radio working. Long story short.. decided it was the starter.
towed her home, and she sat for about a week, battery unhooked while i waited for parts. I installed the new starter, and was questioning my ground wire crimp job.. but the car started up no issues.
Went for a drive to town and engine started to misfire. Rough idle and at higher speeds.
obd scan said p0301 misfire cylinder 1. I checked spark plugs and coils on 1 and 2, and they both had the same ohm readings on the multimeter. Did the long screwdriver test on the fuel injectors.. they all had the same rhythmic clicking,
I also properly crimped the ground wire on the starter yesterday, just in case. Bought a fuel pressure gauge to test what's going on... but my questions is, what should I be looking/testing for, and what sequence do I do it in?

Thank you!
