I know I can convert the air bag suspension to springs and shocks(or air shocks). But could you connect the air shocks to the existing air system in the car.. My mechanic told me the air bags work with a level switch. When the back end of the car is level the compressor shuts off and stops putting air into the bags. And when the back gets unlevel (a person sits in the back seat or gets out of the back seat.)the compressor comes back on to relevel out the car. You would think the air shocks could be used the same way. Connect them to the compressor.
