I need some HELP! I have a 2003 Grand Marquis, the air conditioner works however, my fan will not blow the air. The fan icon shows up when I turn on the fan but nothing happens. Any suggestions before I pull out the fan?

Does the fan work at any speed for any setting? e.g. heat, vent, defroster.

 

No. The fan does work if I connect it straight to the battery. The indications on the climate controls are:when I first select the air, heat, whatever the auto indication is displayed but there is zero air movement. When I attempt to manually select a fan speed the auto indication goes away and the fan icon is displayed but the fan does not turn on or display any indication of the fan speed.

you probably need a fan speed switch. some have two. a low speed and a high speed fan switch.
