Default Buying Low Mileage Marquis

I want some feedback..
Recently bought a '08 Marquis GS with 50,400 miles. Had some bumper (front rear) and paint issues. Clean Car Fax. One owner had original window sticker

Any other out there with similar stories and how many miles should I expect if I follow good mechanical practices.

THANKS!

Default Low Miles Grand Marquis

Ya done good, MercuryGM !!
That's roughly 5,500 miles per year, which is a true "low miles" car !
A clean CarFax means there's no damage that you can't see, and any "bumper issues"
can be fixed fairly cheaply.
The Grand Marquis is a VERY reliable car, with an excellent engine and transmission.
With regular recommended maintenance, your Merc should last at least another 100,000 miles.
I'm driving a "95 MERC" Restoration that just turned 150,000 miles last week.
Check my profile for pictures and a description of the restoration/modification/upgrades that you may be able to use on your '08 model.
I built mine up as a touring sedan, with emphasis on handling, performance, reliability, and comfort for desert and mountain cruising in the Western U.S.
The 95 MERC has been to and through many states from coast-to-coast over the 12 years since I bought it @ 51,000 miles. Never driven in snow; no rust; no wrecks; no floods; and NO breakdowns.
95 MERC was bought new in Fort Lauderdale, FL by Ma&Pa geezers, and I'm a geezer, too.
Let's face it, a Grand Marquis is a "geezer car", but it can be made to cruise at high speeds for hours at a time, in comfort and safety.
Expect around 16 mpgs for "town" driving, and 24-25 on highway trips.
Tip: Use genuine Motorcraft filters for air, fuel, engine, and transmission.
I do my own work and get most of my parts and fluids from Amazon.com and RockAuto.com -- for best prices and home delivery.
