crown vic wheels on a grand maquis

i have a 92 grand marquis with the stock 16" wheels, and i know that the crown vics have the same bolt pattern, but i looked at some today and forgot to measure them, but i have a few questions.

if the crown vic rims are 17" will they be able to fit in the tire that the 16" rims were in?
with the crown vic rims on the grand marquis can i still put the chrome center cap on?
thanks for any input!

different size rims means different size tires...

yeah youd need different size tires man. also be careful not to get wheels from any 03+ panthers because they have a different offset

ok, i know different sized tires, but if they are 17" with the same bolt pattern theyll fit on the marquis?

i dont see why not. as long as the offset is correct you should be fine

Photos show 1995 Grand Marquis with wheels from a '92 Crown Vic. The '92 Crown Vic wheels are 15-inch diameter x 6.5 inch width x 4.5 inch bolt pattern.
The cast-aluminum wheels are made in Italy. I swapped out the Crown Vic center caps for Grand Marquis center caps. I got a spare aluminum wheel from a junk yard to mount the spare tire.
It's getting hard to find quality tires for the 15-inch wheels, so I wanna find some Mercury 17 x 7s that fit.
