All Grand Marquis are built in Canada, see here:

Dlr - dealer installed option, is that what you meant?

This refers in general to options the dealer installs, not the factory. For your year and model: Seat Belt Extenders

Basically it's a buckle with a small piece of seatbelt, which clips into the buckle installed on the car, it extends the seatbelt. For larger people, to give you less pressure on the seatbelt, and in PI's used to accommodate more space for the sidearm officers are wearing.

Also for easier access to the factory installed buckle, as it's partially underneath the front armrests, due to the bench seat.

Don't think so, MGM doesn't have any. Even the details for the 2008 model don't list them.

Well, we'll find out. If he says that "it is not working", he can probably clarify. I hope LOL

ya, daytime running light

coupe 10-27-2007 03:05 AM

donīt know, if installed or not. but i think, because manufactured in canada

Manufactured in Canada, but for US market.

Nerveless, MGM does not have daytime running lights.

If you want them, they make wiring kits which you can install.

Easiest solution is: turn your headlights on.

okay, i will do that

All that theharness (wiring kit) is doing, is supplying power to your headlights only. So none of your tail or instrument lights would be on.

Update for the DRL (DaytimeRunningLights):

I just happen to run across this section in the Shop Manual (it's from 1998 and states "applies to all models '92 to present":

Daytime Running Light System (Canadian vehicles only):

The Daytime Running Light (DRL) system is designed to turn on the high beam headlamps ON, with a reduced light output, when all of the following conditions are met:

-The vehicle is "running".

-The vehicle has a fully released parking brake.

-The headlamp system is in the OFF position

NOTE: If you have a vehicle with an automatic lighting system, the DRL system is active until the automatic system turns on the headlamps.

Greetings!
