You can also turn on the auto lamps(little turn dial behind pull light switch).

As far as im aware they all have this just turn on and set to the farthest it will go without turning off(little stop) and when the car is on lights are on, when the car is turned off they turn off in 5-10 seconds depending on where its set.

In the Pciture its the little dial behind the pull knob.

Is supposed to fit all models '96 to '05.


Doesn't say what the kit includes, I would think the module, and maybe the relays.


Anyhow, here it is. Interesting that it works with your high beams, so no wear on your headlights (bulbs).

If you don't know how it works, read the previous postings, it defines clearly what the system does.


In case you still don't understand:


-Autolamp functions turns on your headlights (low beam) and all other lights, the same way they would come on as if you were manually turning on all your lights. It functions anytime the sensor on the dash does not receive any sufficient brightness.


-DaytimeRunningLights: This system provides low current to the high beam lights only. It functions anytime the ignition is on.


Got it now?


BTW: I saw that this system is listed in the '92 manual as well, however, the sales brochure does not feature it, not even as an option. I guess it would be what is called "dealer-installed-option".

Me too. Not that I'm a fan of it, thus they make you more visible for sure, it's just interesting to see all those little differences.


Do you use your Autolamp feature? I was never really into it, but do use them now all the time. Well, you set them once and that's it. I find it very convenient, especially when you get out and have the light.
