For the power windows I will its the gear issue due to the dust in the door panel which stuck the gear and then the gear become rough and the dust also make the window glass hard moving in the door panel. That is also possible that due to this hard pulling of window the motor may be burnt. You can check this by opening the door panel from inside the drive. remove all the dust first and then see other things .
