Default Hard Starting Grand Marquis

I have experienced stalling and hard starting when the engine is warmed up and idling at a stop sign or stop light. After about 15 min the car will start. The dealer replaced the IAC valve but the problem remains. Can this be caused by a sticking EGR valve? Has anyone had this problem or can reccommend a fix? The car is a Grand Marquis , Model year 2000 with 75,000 miles on it.

I have an 01 mercy grand marquis that I just purchased and have been having the same problem! It revs up and down and eventually dies every time I start it or put it in park. Then while I'm driving, usually when turning and don't have my foot on the gas it dies. It just popped an egr code but it had the problem before it threw that code! Please help!

The dealer found the problem. after 20 min of running, the fuel pressure went to less than 10 psi, starving the engine. I have been using the car about a week with no problems.
[fingers crossed]

The dealer said if the idle was reving up and down, the probable cause was the IAC [Idle Air Control Valve]
