parts store should sell the kit for the upgrade. as big as the headlight housing is, i doubt it would melt.

I doubt that they would sell you a High Intensity Disharge bulb that that would melt your headlight housing. Just remember when installing the new bulbs to handle them by the base only. The oils and dirt, plus whatever other contaminents on your hands and fingers will cause damage to the delicate halogen glass and cause premature failure of the lamp. Are you suffering from 90's Ford/Mercury internal headlight housing fogging? Let me know.& nbsp;P.S. What is 8 or 10,000k? Is it watts? And what is in there now? Edited by: conan312

well i had the outter headlight fogging but i did the sandpaper and rubbing compound thing... nbsp?8,000k and 10,000k is how they measure HID's its the kelvin... or tempature of the light... now i have the sh*tty apc super white bulbs in there...so when that tax check comes back im thinkin of either buying new headlights and putting the HID's in or just taking mine apart and sanding them down inside and out... then putting the hid's in...another ? though i cut my exaust off after the "Y" pipe... im thinking of cutting it before the Y and putting mufflers on there... do i really need to go with flowmasters? or are cherry bomb turbo2 mufflers ok?

Anything that helps an engine inhale and exhale better will make more power. I think either muffler will give it a nice deeper, throaty sound.

wont sound good unless you get shorty headers and either a H or X pipe... the exhaust will have a crackle in it...

biggest clearnace issue is with long tube headers. they cause problems with the column shifter and under the car for clearance. easiest mod i know of is to just use shorty headers connected to either a X or H pipe that bolts to shorty headers. i can dig for more info if ya want..
