I think the keeper of this never reads our complaints. He has never responded to any complaint that I have seen posted. Maybe this is a ghost site.

replace the switch for the door before replacing the motor. just switch out one that works on a different door and see if the window starts. you can also jump out the switches. also try to hit the motor with a hammer. this works sometimes.

<DIV>pop off the center cap or twist it off. under it should be a screwlock</DIV>
<DIV>this holds on the hubs.</DIV>
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV>is it burning oil or does it have blow by. is the exhaust smokeblue </DIV>
<DIV>color?
</DIV>
<DIV>the motors for the windows can be a pain. if you take your time they are not that bad. it is good practice on a junk yard car. you might need a drill to drill out the rivits for the motor. I would really check all the fuses and then the switch for the window first. then take off the panel and tap it with a hammer. </DIV>

At the very the driver''s regulator is shot. It make horrible grinding sounds when you try to move it up or down, and dones''t really go anywhere.

The other 2 windows move slightly then stop,a nd won''t go back up. So I''m thinking motor.

There''s blue smoke from the exhaust. Normally it''s not much, but when the car had issues going in reverse it would belch out a ton of blue smoke.

OMG, did tually fix the posting problem?!

no not for those, a screwdriver should do the trick. if not hammer on a smaller socket over the lock if there is one. This will fit very tight ovet it and them you can loosen it with a ratchet. Otherwise a regular screwdriver should get it if you pop off the center cap. however you will need the tripod piece that is fastned under the lugnuts to put these on your car. if you just put the caps on without it they will fall off over the first bump
