help me put together a budget.

I have a 1990 MGM I am wanting to soup it up with out changing the bottom end can anyone one put me together a list of parts for a 1000 dollar budget.

for 1000$ just get a 302 HO can't really push some serious power out of these 20 year old beasts if you do some is bound to just give out.
