Default Major Water Leak

I have an amazing 2006 Grand Marquis that is about as close to.showroom condition as one could imagine. I was admiring how the frame doesn't even have surface rust when I noticed an area passenger side rear that I was proving at. Let's just say I was sick to my stomach when I pushed my fingers right through in that spot.

i pulled the seat and carpet and that is the only area rotted. I will Have to cut a.floor segment from a junkyard car and graph it in....im.sick!!

Ive been reading about ac vent being clogged and some screen under the front cowl. How would that leak water to the rear? There is a black vent oval pipe that it could be coming from under the seat?

can anyone who has experienced this problem provide me.some details...ive searched and have been coming up with an array of answers but it doesn't make sense how it makes it to.the rear.

Thanks from the new guy...i.hope to contribute moving forward. I just got.the car.

The a/c drain did not cause the rusted rear floor pan and leave the front dry and rust free. You need to look elsewhere for the leak source. It came from the rear area somewhere. Those are vent lines allow easier closing of the trunk lid and doors since cars are so air tight now.

There is a fire wall gasket up by the cowl on the passenger side. The gasket goes to hell and the water pools in the right rear. There is a video on how to repair the gasket. This is a common problem for Crown Vic, GM, Lincoln town car.
