I have a 2001 Grand Marquis GS, for some reason my reverseand licence platelights won't work. Both reverse light bulbs are good and I believe the fuse is good (I checked fuse slot#16). Does anyone know what my problem might be?

 

I had that same problem on my 2005 could not find anything through Google though it may be the cable. Transmission went out put in used one and reverse lights startedstarted working
