Power windows roll up and down very slowly 2002 MGM

Default Power windows roll up and down very slowly 2002 MGM

Hi all,

2002 MGM, the windows roll up and down very slowly, the more windows at the same time, the slower.. Anyone knows what i can do about this?

My 2001 with 25K miles is the same. The rear windows are pretty slow compared to my last car.
I'm waiting to see what others say,but so far I'm thinking this is pretty much normal. -Brian-

Default Power windows are slow on two of mine, also

Had a '99 Crown Vic, new battery, only 18,000 miles, and the windows just creeeeep up slowly. My '99 MGM, old or new battery, is the same. Sorry I cannot help, but can only tell you that we may be in the majority.

Try changing out the battery, and then see if it's the motor or actuator.

You can try removing the door panel, and putting some lithium grease (not too much) on the rails of the window actuator. This worked on my wife's late model Chevy.

Get some silicon paste, roll down the windows, and paint the tracks. Cycle the windows to 90% up, and 10% down three, or four times, and it should fix the issue.

I can only find 3M Silicon Paste mail order.
