I am putting a 2 " spacers in my rear coil springs. I understand that I also need shock extenders. The site that I plan to order the extenders from asks if I want the threads to be fine (24 threads per inch) or coarse (i6 threads per inch). Without removing a shock I do not know if the 2009 Grand Marquis has fine thread or coarse thread shocks. Anybody know?

 

good luck nut breaking the nuts off... i know on the older models you can use the heavier duty springs made for a wagon and use f-150 shocks to accomodate the longer/taller spring
